Interview: Diner Theory
Food lover, VHS collector, and Android user Jake Hook is known for having an opinion or two. When he’s not making shchi or teaching philosophy at Fullerton State, he runs Diner Theory, which highlights long-standing restaurants in America and all over the world.
He has written for L.A. Taco and has eaten at over 500 “diners” since the Pandemic, so he knows his shit. He was kind enough to chat with us about his ethos, hype culture, and the worst bagel take of all time.
